Spiritual
Warrior Studies
1 Cor. 15
The Bodily Resurrection This is based on part 1 of the reading
for the SW course. We begin
the concept of what the essentials of the Gospel are.
1 Cor. 15
Predestination Sorry, but we missed the actual study, but this
is a terrific ending that happened about predestination.
1 Cor. 15
The Validity of the Gospel Story
Why is the Gospel story valid?
This is also based on part 1 of the reading for the SW level
1 course. There are good reasons
why Paul establishes witnesses here.
1 Cor. 15
Grace (and Self-Contempt) The last in the 1 Cor. 15 series. We focus on the grace of God and how this is
the culmination of the Gospel. Ends
with a good discussion on self-contempt and why we use this deflection
technique.
Rev. 4:8
The Holiness of God Based on the second section of readings
for SW level 1, this study is about why the holiness of God is important
to us and what we can learn from it.
1
Samuel 28 Playing With Fire This is from the Level 3 readings and
the story of King Saul who took matters into his own hands by consulting
a medium instead of relying on God to provide the information he needed
to know.
2
Samuel 11 Loved By the Lord When we sin, does God still love us?
The classic story of David and Bathsheba shows us how God can take the
sinful mistakes we make and turn them around for His glory. This is
from Level 3 readings.
2
Samuel 12 Two Responses to Sin The difference between Christians
and non-Christians is in how we respond to our own sin. Will we live
in condemnation or in grace? What is the godly response to when we sin?
Here we examine two men and their responses to sin in their own lives:
David and Saul. This is from the Level 3 readings.
Daniel 6 Authority
in the Wrong We are told that we should obey authority because God
has placed it over us, but how do we handle things when we believe the
authority is asking us to go against God? Daniel gives us a great example
of a humble, godly man who made an incredible impression on his king
by his faithfulness to God and his respect for those in authority.
Galatians
and Legalism "The Offense of the Cross" Paul faced the
same problem as we do in today's world: the problem of legalism in the
church. Legalism, working our way to be "good enough" for
God, is the opposite of grace and will keep you from the joy of the
Christian life.
The
Three Marks of a Cult How can you distinguish the truth from lies?
Here are three basic marks you can look for that are marks of all cults.
Catholicism
and the Three Marks of a Cult Are Catholics our brothers and sisters
in the Lord? Or does Catholicism fit into the three marks of a cult?
The
Interfaith Alliance: Reading Between the Lines Does it really matter
what we believe? Can't all faiths get along together on common ground?
Mormonism
and Defining Terms When it comes to talking to others about God,
many groups nowadays claim to be Christians. But are they talking about
the same God, the same Jesus as we are? Or are they teaching "another
Jesus" and "another Gospel" as it says in 2 Corinthians
11:4?
Mormonism
Part 2 This is an interactive study where we go directly to the
LDS site to see how it matches up to what the Bible says.
Deliverance
Ministries Part 1 How biblical are deliverance ministries? Can Christians
really have demons working inside of them? In this study we look at
a deliverance ministry website to compare what it teaches with what
the Bible says.
