Part 2 is more indepth and will require you to have prior knowledge of our doctrinal statement and statement of faith. If you have not read these two documents from our website, please do not continue until you have done so. In fact, for some of the first few questions, you might need to refer to these two pages either by printing them out or by opening a second web browser page.

Many of the following questions must have your answers explained briefly so you will need to set aside adequate time to complete this. You probably will not be able to complete this in one sitting so if you must exit this page before completing all the questions, you must submit the answers you have (otherwise those answers will be lost) and then when you return, be sure to re-enter your name and then you can begin where you left off. The answers you submitted will not appear on the new form. If you wish to change any of those answers, merely answer them again. Please give these questions much consideration. Your answers do not have to be lengthy, but they do need to be complete.

Please answer all questions honestly according to your own beliefs. A disagreement with our doctrine does not necessarily eliminate someone from becoming a counselor. All written answers should be as complete as possible and include scripture references whenever possible.

Thank you for your interest in Open Arms Ministry.

List at least 3 or more pseudo-Christian groups, applying the above definitions of "cult" and "pseudo".

(If you do not know them and would like to, please contact the OAIM founders who can give you the authors of the quotes as well as the documentation for them. This is not a required field to fill in.)

In your opinion, can someone who is saved still struggle with homosexuality?

A Very Important Question

If the OAM founders ask you to put someone on ignore in the counseling room, how would you respond?

I would do so immediately and trust that the founders have a reason for such a request
I'd only put them on ignore if I felt it was right
I'd PM the founders to ask why they were doing such a thing
I'd question the founders about it in the open room
I never put anyone on ignore
Other:

Please give your personal testimony here. You do not have to go into a great deal of detail, however, please be complete.

You have now completed Part 2 of the application process.
Please submit your application by using the submit button below.

After submitting this part of the application, OAIM will e-mail you regarding whether or not you have passed the application process. Please allow at least one week for us to review your application. If you pass this stage, you will be given the title of OAM_Intern (Open Arms Ministry Intern) and we will send you the webpage address for the first part of the training. Interns are rejected from the application for many reasons and OAIM is not obligated to give a reason as to the rejection of any individual. This does not in any way indicate that the person is not a good Christian, but rather indicates that we do not believe they will be suitable for the demands that will be placed on an OAIM intern. A major reason for rejection of an application would be conflicting beliefs that will cause division between the members of OAIM.

Thank you for your interest in Open Arms Ministry.
